AIRE Assessment™, The AIRE Nine™ (also used as AIRE Nine™, the brand behind airenine.com), Four AIRE Dimensions™, Industry Lenses™, and selected AIRE type and industry-expression names may be used as trademarks or service marks of their respective owner. The ™ symbol indicates a claim of trademark rights and does not mean a mark is federally registered. Registered marks will use the ® symbol only after registration is granted. Original website copy, assessment explanations, reports, graphics and other creative materials are protected by applicable copyright law; copyright does not automatically protect general ideas, scoring concepts, short phrases or names. Patent protection, where applicable, relates to claimed inventions and methods — not automatically to brand names, type names or ordinary website language. References to pending applications are limited to applications actually filed and do not imply that a patent has been granted; see the patents page. Nothing on this website represents that a pending application will necessarily result in an issued registration or patent.

DiSC^® and Everything DiSC^® are registered trademarks of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Those marks are used on this site only nominatively — that is, to identify a widely recognised category of work-style instrument so a reader can place AIRE in context. No claim of ownership in those marks is made or implied.

AIRE is an independent instrument. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, licensed from, or derived from John Wiley & Sons, Inc. or any DiSC^® publisher, distributor or authorised partner.

Stated explicitly, and before any comparative subhead is read:

• No items. None of AIRE's 41 items are taken, adapted, paraphrased or translated from any DiSC^® instrument.
• No scales. AIRE measures Awareness, Initiative, Rigor and Execution as they relate to working with technology. It does not measure Dominance, Influence, Steadiness or Conscientiousness, and its dimensions do not map onto them.
• No scoring or norming. AIRE's scoring algorithm, AIRE type classification and score bands are original and independently developed. No DiSC^® scoring key, norm table or comparison data is used.
• No profiles or report content. AIRE's canonical types, industry expressions, profile names, narrative reports and development guidance are original works.
• No certification or training lineage. AIRE requires no DiSC^® certification, and DiSC^® certification confers no standing to administer or interpret AIRE.
• No equivalence claim. Nothing on this site should be read as claiming that AIRE results are comparable to, convertible into, or a substitute for DiSC^® results.

The only similarity asserted is one of format and use: both are self-report work-style instruments that return a named profile a team can talk about. That is the entire scope of the comparison.

Where the site says AIRE is “read like DiSC^®, built for AI readiness,” the meaning is that the output format is familiar — a named profile, dimension scores, a short narrative — not that the instruments share content, science or results. That phrasing always appears with the ® attribution and a link to this page.

The shorter phrase “the DiSC of the AI era” is not used in site copy and should not be used in advertising without the attribution and non-affiliation notice adjacent to it.
